Can I Install it myself?

Yes, The Channel Plus and Open House products are Plug-n-Play products. You want video cameras, plug in the camera module.  You want to remotely use your computer while lounging in bed, plug in the module.  The key to the whole system is to use "Structured Wire" in place of standard telephone wire when you house is being set up.  Many of the components can by installed by running separate RG-6 and Cat-5 wiring, but if you install the Structured Wire to all rooms in the home, you are set for any application that you can dream up in the future.

Can I Afford It?

Yes, The Channel Plus and Open House products and modular.  This means that you can pre-wire the home  for a small initial expense and then add features to the system as they become needed.  Secondly, integrating all of your home devices will save you money!  There is no need for multiple printers, VCR, DVD, or other electronic devices. These products can all be accessed by any computer or television in the home.  Also, there is no need for duplication of systems.  If you would like to have a video system to monitor the front door or any room in the home,  you do not need to have a separate monitoring system in each room.  You will be able to view any camera from any television or computer screen in the home.
